Rapyuta Robotics, Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that its flagship product, the Rapyuta PA-AMR, has won an Award of Excellence at the 34th SME Excellence in New Technology and New Products Awards, organized by the Resona Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (‘Resona Foundation’) and the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun (‘The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun’).

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the prestigious ‘Excellence Award’. Our product, Rapyuta PA-AMR, which received this award, is controlled and managed by our self-developed robotics platform raputa.io. Our all-inclusive robotics solution seamlessly combines the robotic hardware and the software system.

Since its commercial launch in 2019, it has been used by many logistics operators and has approximately doubled productivity in warehouse operations, with a cumulative sales volume of approximately 200 units. With the implementation of Rapyuta PA-AMR, warehouse staff have an improved, efficient working environment. This contributes to helping solve social issues such as the shortage of workers due to the falling birthrate and an aging population.

The Resona Foundation and the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun established the ‘Small and Medium Enterprise Excellent New Technology and New Product Award’ in 1988 with the aim of promoting the technology of small and medium enterprises and contributing to the development of the domestic industry. In each of the 34 years, the awards recognize and support innovative, new technologies and products developed by SMEs. The award categories are divided into general and software categories.
