Rapyuta Robotics received “Mizuho Innovation Award” from Mizuho Bank

Rapyuta Robotics Co. Ltd., (Koto-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Gajan Mohanarajah; hereinafter “We”), a provider of the Cloud robotics platform “rapyuta.io” is pleased to announce the receipt of “Mizuho Innovation Award” from Mizuho bank, Ltd., (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Fujiwara; hereinafter “Mizuho Bank”), which is to award promising innovative companies.

With the aim of supporting growth of innovative companies that will lead the future of Japan “Mizuho Innovation Award” selects and honors companies on a quarterly basis based on their business model superiority, team strength, and growth potential.

Mizuho Bank commented that the following three points were highly evaluated as the reasons for granting this year’s award:

① World’s leading technology and global team in multi-robot cordination.
② Developing a robotics platform from the perspective of the logistics field that can make use ofexisting robots, operations, and settings.
③ Challenges taken on meaningful projects that will lead to providing solutions to social issues such as labor shortages and the shift to DX (digital transformation).

To meet the expectations of the “Mizuho Innovation Award” winners we will continue to refine our multi-robots coordination technology and accelerate our business so that we can support expanding robotics in a variety of industries.

This award was established by Mizuho Bank on October 30th, 2017. With the aim of supporting the growth of innovative companies that will lead the future of Japan, “Mizuho Innovation Award” selects and honors companies on a quarterly basis based on their business model superiority, team strength, and growth potential.
